Rev. James A. Thornton

My name is James Thornton and I am the Senior Pastor of the Salem Missionary Baptist Church, located in the heart of the Flatbush community in Brooklyn, New York. I am delighted to have the opportunity to be a part of “Hearts That Give”, as a board member and advisor.

I have joined to work with this organization because it seeks to share the love of God to people who have challenges and/ or in a temporary state of concern in a tangible manner. Some of these individuals include persons in hospitals, nursing homes, military, shelters, etc,

This mission is a creative way for me to join in with an organization that desires to share God’s to empower others.
